Our crew completed Westminster and we are increasing our number of shifts this coming week!

The change in the political winds is evident on the ground.

We know this is anecdotal, but many longstanding and reliable Republican general election voters have told us they plan to split their tickets for Democrats this midterm election, including Phil Weiser. and Manny Rutinel.

But the data don’t lie: our targeted voter audiences have responded with enthusiasm and well above the average rate for support/opposition in the universe we are passing through currently.

These aren’t just strong Democrats—this is persuasion work right now, the core work that flips swing seats like Colorado’s 8th District and helps boost turnout for big gains up and down the ballot.

While our operations have gone very well, in a recent canvass one of our most seasoned canvassers had the police called by an unknown person.

Local police responded promptly and we applaud their professionalism and approach to resolving the conflict instigated by the Trump supporters in the neighborhood we were in. They immediately sided with our team and affirmed our First Amendment right of freedom of speech and our compliance with local laws.

We hate to say it, but the canvasser who had the police called on him is Latino, and this is far too common an occurrence for racial minorities.

But we will not be deterred. Our expert canvasser did not stop. He did not get discouraged. He moved on, and his resolve is only stronger after the incident.
