Ken Buck (R-CD4) Has been a consistent vote for the gun lobby, against women, and against pretty much anyone who doesn’t look exactly like himself.

Days after Kyle Rittenhouse shot two Black Lives Matter protesters, Ken Buck wore a shirt with the slogan “Kill ‘Em All, Let God Sort ‘Em Out” plastered around a skull to a campaign fundraising event. This insensitivity has characterized his tenure as representative of Colorado’s Fourth District, and his public life before then.

Now, Buck is retiring because the MAGA GOP has no space for a RINO like him. Crazy, right? Buck announced his retirement in the face of an aggressive challenge from Weld County Commissioner Trent Leisy, who has established himself as a full-on Trump disciple.

To say we’ve got to beat this guy is an understatement. Leisy would be worse than Lauren Boebert and MTG, when it comes to stoking division, hate, and violence – not to mention completely unwilling to take reasonable stands on the concrete issues our communities are facing.
